Tony Cook, 50, of Pittston Township, passed away unexpectedly at home.
Tony was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 7, 1972. He attended Wilkes-Barre and Pittston schools. Tony was a loving father, son-in-law, uncle, fiancé, brother-in-law, and friend, who was a well known and loved member of our community. He was employed at the Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority for close to 25 years. He was admired for his many years of dedication to the Pittston Township Little League, Santa Squad, and Lamp Lighters. Most importantly, he will be remembered for his love for those around him. He was reliable, dependable, and would drop anything to help anyone. His sense of
humor will be missed, especially by his family and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his former father-in-law, Louis C. Braccini.
Surviving are his children, Alyvia Marie Cook and Nicholas Louis Cook; former mother-in-law, Ann Braccini; former sister-in-law, Donna Bittmann and her husband, Frank and their children, Andrew and Paige, all of Pittston Township; fiancé, Dr. Mary Ellen Marranca, Exeter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 1:00pm in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. Private interment in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alyvia and Nicholas Cook in care of Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston, PA18640.
