Sharon Jensen Thompson

Sharon Jensen Thompson, 66, of Dallas, passed away Friday evening, June 16, 2023 in Lakewood Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Nanticoke.

Born on May 23, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Knud and Ruby Keenan Jensen.

Sharon graduated from high school while she lived in New Jersey.

She had been employed as a travel agent with American Express.

Sharon was the light of many people’s lives. She always knew how to stir things up or calm them down by just being herself. She raised two sons to be strong, fearless, and compassionate. As a wife, she was nothing short of a saint. She always had the right things to say and lit up a room when she was present. She lived life by her own rules and did so with grace. Sharon was loved and she loved back unconditionally.

Although the passing of Sharon is sad, her family would like for you to take a moment to think of a memory or a time you spent with her and try and relive it. Remember her for the happy times and celebrate her life and the time you spent with her. There is no one else like her and to have known her, even if it was for a short time, we hope you got a chance to see how special she was. Sharon enjoyed the simple things in life and if she could teach you anything it would be to be happy with nothing and live like you have everything and appreciate who and what surrounds you. So take a moment to think of Sharon and know that she is thinking about you as well.

Surviving are her husband, Kevin Thompson, Harding; sons, William Thompson and Amanda Perlock, Avoca and Kevin Thompson, West Pittston; brother, Freddy Jensen and his wife Patricia, Marshalls Creek; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 2P.M. to 4P.M. in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
