Robert S. Stillarty, 55, of Kingston passed away Saturday November 30, 2024 at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, after a brief illness.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on September 2, 1969, he was the son of Robert J. Stillarty and Mary Ann Toney Stillarty.
Rob was a graduate of Hanover Area High School Class of 1987. In his earlier years he worked for Von-Crete, he was currently employed as a Corrections Officer at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility. For many years Rob worked as a bartender at the Woodlands Inn.
He enjoyed NASCAR and was a Michigan Football fan.
Rob was a hard-working man, with a kind heart. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Rob is survived by his wife, Molly (Adonizio) Stillarty, and their daughter, Nina Stillarty. Also surviving, his brother, Steven J. Stillarty, his wife Shannon and their daughter, Alexandria, his mother-in-law, Kate Adonizio, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rob was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Charles Adonizio.
The family will receive friends and relatives Friday December 6, 2024 from 4-7pm at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday December 7, 2024 at 9:30am in St.
Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston, those attending are asked to go directly to church.
