Raymond S. Giraldi, 89, of West Pittston, passed away peacefully, Tuesday April 8, 2025 at home surrounded by family and love.

Born in West Wyoming, Ray was the son of the late Augusto and Maria Tillie Giraldi.
Ray was a graduate of West Wyoming High School. In his earlier years he worked as a Metropolitan Insurance salesman. For many years with the help of his loving wife Marian, Ray operated Giraldi’s Market, Pittston. Ray and Marian enjoyed spending their winters in Florida. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, St. Joseph Marello Parish.
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his twin brother, Sam Giraldi, sister, Eleanor Keaney, and sister-in-law, Marie Campenni, and beloved mother-in-law and father-in-law, Catherine and Sam Campenni.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 62 years, Marian Campenni Giraldi, and their son, Samuel Giraldi, Pittston, along with his grandchildren, the loves of his life, Elena, Annah, and Thomas, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Fox and Sharon, caretakers; Gail, Colleen, and Roxanne, and a special thanks to Kelli for her kind and unwavering support.
A viewing will be held for friends and family, Monday April 14, 2025, from 4-7PM at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William St., Pittston.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday April 15, 2025 at 9:30AM in St. Joseph Marello Parish 237 William St., Pittston. Those wishing to attend are asked to go directly to the church Tuesday morning followed by a private interment, St. Rocco’s Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to The Social Concerns of Corpus Christi at 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, PA 18643.
