Michael “Mickey” Joseph Lombardo, 80, of Pittston, passed away October 17, 2022.
Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Anthony and Josephine Capizzi Lombardo. He was a graduate of Pittston High School.
He had worked in the local garment industry and was a self-employed painter. He loved baseball and especially The New York Yankees and was a baseball umpire for many years at the Pittston Little League.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Bernard, and Anthony Lombardo; sisters, Rose DeGilio and Josephine Sherman.
Surviving are his sons, Michael A. Lombardo (Laurie), Duryea; and Brian D. Lombardo (Lora), Exeter; grandchildren, Victoria O’Sullivan (Sean); Danielle LoPresto (Carmen); Melanie Lombardo; Nathan Lombardo; and Ryan Lombardo; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Angelo and Samuel Lombardo; sisters, Pauline Larkin, Caroline Hite and Mary Perrins.
Private funeral services will be held under the direction of Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
