Maureen B. “Red” McGlynn, of Jenkins Township, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on April 16, 1945, she was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude Metzger McGlynn.
Maureen was a longtime resident of Heather Highlands, Jenkins Township. She worked for many years and retired as a supervisor at Techneglas. Not only did she reside at Heather Highlands; she was also employed there. Maureen was a member of Anthracite Rose
Dance Club, Dupont.
She is survived by three siblings, James
McGlynn, William McGlynn, and Barbara Curtis, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Wolf Sanctuary of PA, 465 Speedwell Forge Rd., Lititz, PA 17543. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, Pittston.
Rest in peace Red. You were funny as hell but more you were as nice as they come. You will be missed.
Red was a great friend and neighbor. I will miss our talks at the fence. Her humor was contagious and her love for animals. R I P red. I miss you already!
