Margaret Helen Pisano, 77, of Pittston Township, passed away at home on Friday, September 15, 2023.
Born in Saint Helens, Lancashire, England on September 24, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Betty Richardson Nasiatka.
Helen was a graduate of Northeast High School. Simple things that brought her happiness included her pets, bird watching, reading while drinking a warm cup of tea, debating news and current events, and tending to her flowers and garden. However, her greatest joy in life was being together with her children, grandchildren, and family, to whom she was lovingly known as “Grammy”.
In addition to her husband, Patrick A. Pisano, surviving are her children, Laurie Ann Pisano, Thomas (Lori) Pisano, Patricia (Steve) Fenton, Patrick (Sarah) Pisano, Steven (Krista) Pisano, Matthew (Samantha) Pisano, Jessica Pisano, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Michele Nasiatka Johnston and Janet Dietrick, and brother, Paul (Sheryl) Nasiatka.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 25, 2023at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston.

Helen and I were very close cousins as we grew up. We enjoyed watching baseball together. My condolences to Pat and their lovely family. Our family just lost Ivan on September 7th so I can relate to your feelings of sadness and loss. Marsha Hastie Tylawsky.
