Joseph Waytul

Joseph Waytul, 82, of West Wyoming, passed away Friday April 4, 2025 at home.

Born in Pittston, he was the of the late Joseph and Mary Gerich Waytul, he was a graduate of Jenkins Twp. High School.

Joseph was an avid fly fisherman. He was most happy on the Delaware River, fishing while his beloved wife looked on.

In addition to his parents Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Carol Ann Mancini Waytul and sister Marion Waytul Klobukowski.

He is survived by his sisters, Dolores Sindaco and Joan Krzywicki, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday April 10, 2025 at 11:00am in St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 205 N. Main St., Pittston with Fr. Andrii Dumnych officiating. Interment will be at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
