John Vidlicka, 86, of Pittston, passed away peacefully Thursday April 3, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late John Vidlicka and Germaine Rodola Vidlicka.
John graduated from Pittston High School and was a long-time employee of RCA, Dunmore, where he was a Quality Control Technician.
John was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of St. Joseph Marello Church. He was an avid golfer and a member of Emanon C.C. He was a fan of the Philadelphia sports teams and enjoyed attending the Pittston Area high school football and basketball games. He loved singing and the many vacations and bus trips he took with his wife and many friends. Branson Missouri bus trips being one of his favorites.
Surviving, his wife of 64 years, Virginia Antonello Vidlicka, and their daughters; Jacqueline Vidlicka, Pittston and Cheryl Miller and her husband Ron, Allentown, grandchildren; Adam Miller, Aubry Casella (Jonah) and Samantha Mehta (Mithil), and brother, Daniel Vidlicka.
Funeral services are private, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, to leave an online condolence go to the funeral home website.
We are so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man, a great neighbor, and will be missed. We are all thinking of you guys.
