John Joseph Reklaitis, Sr., 73, of Jenkins Township, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024, in Commonwealth Health, Wilkes Barre.
Born in Pittston on September 17, 1950, he was the son of the late Matthew and Grace Noone Reklaitis.
He was a graduate of Pittston Area High School and served in the Army Reserves.
He was a self-employed mechanic and retired as a mechanic from Tobyhanna Army Depot.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Phyllis Kozinski Reklaitis; sons, Ryan Paul Reklaitis (Jennifer) and John Joseph Reklaitis, Jr. (Laurissa), all of Jenkins Township; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emily, Joseph, Brianna, Kayla and Aiden; brother, Matthew Reklaitis, Swoyersville; sister, Mary Corcoran (Joseph), Pittsburgh; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church. Interment, St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, Pittston.
