Henrietta Marie Viola, 85, of West Pittston, passed away at home, Monday, December 27, 2021.
Born in Exeter on July 16, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Carl C. and Angela Pisano Luchetti.
She was a graduate of Exeter High School, Class of 1953, and received a Masters Degree in Education from Misericordia University. 1957. She had worked for 38 years as a Special Education Teacher for Luzerne Intermediate Unit achieving “Teacher of the Year” award during that time. She was involved with the family business, Luchetti Sales and Service Jeep, Exeter along with her brother Carl, until 2001.
She was a member of the Parish of St. Barbara, Exeter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Frank S. Viola; and brother, Carl Luchetti, Jr.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol A. Viola and her husband Michael Mazurek, III, Mechanicsville, VA; grandchildren, Elena and Dimitri Mazurek; sisters, Jean Marie Hendershot, Plains Township and Roberta Napravnik, West Chester, PA.
Henrietta was a kind, selfless , generous caretaker to many including Angela and Carl Luchetti her parents, husband Frank, daughter Carol , Dimitri and Elena Mazurek her grandchildren and her three “ adopted” daughters Lisa, Lauren and Lindsey Timek.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
