Grace Castellino

Grace Castellino, 94, of Pittston passed away Tuesday February 18, 2025 at Highland Manor, Exeter.


Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Mary (Giunta) Tuminelli. Grace was a graduate of Pittston High School.


Grace was a former member of St. Rocco’s R. C. Church, now St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston.


Her greatest joy in life was her family, she was the quintessential homemaker and took great pride in taking care of her, husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. For many years Grace could be seen on her daily walks with her beloved husband, she faithfully attended her grandchildren’s school and sporting events.


Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Cataldo "Ky" Castellino, her son-in-law, Paul J. Gattuso, great-grandson, Kaiden Abul-Ela and her sisters, Theresa Restuccia and Carmella Castellino.


Surviving, her children, son, James Castellino, and his wife, Lisa, Pittston; three daughters, Rosemary Calabrese and her husband, Ray, Pittston; Ann Hinkle, Dupont, and Tina Gattuso, Jenkins Twp. Also, her 10 grandchildren, Christina Abul-Ela (Nader), A.J. Calabrese (Megan), Grace Renfer (Ed), Cory Taffera (Tara), Deedra Porfirio (Paul), Paul Gattuso (Maureen), Kyle Gattuso (Paige), Gina Miller (Cameron), Marina Castellino (Ashley), and James Castellino (Shannon), 14 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Charles Castellino (Sarah) and numerous nieces and nephews.


The family will receive friends and relatives, Friday February 21, 2025 from 5-7PM at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William St., Pittston.


A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday February 22, 2025 at 9:30AM in St. Joseph Marello Parish 237 William St., Pittston, those wishing to attend are asked to go directly to the church. Interment St. Rocco’s Cemetery.


The family would like to thank the staff at Highland Manor for the care they gave to Grace and especially Philomena, Maryann and Ashley for their kindness.

Rosemary and family. My deepest condolences to you and your family in your time of sorrow. Cherish the wonderful memories of your Mom. She was a beautiful woman!
