Gerald (Jerry) William Prebola, (83), of West Pittston, passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2025. Born in Harding, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Helen Wallo Prebola.

He was a graduate of West Pittston High School, Class of 1960.
Jerry was self-employed in the construction industry. When he wasn’t building or fixing something, he enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, bowling, and golfing. He was the league golf champion for three years. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and watching his grandsons play sports.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew, Robert, and William Prebola and brothers in law, Joseph and Harry Meschini.
He is survived by his loving wife of (62 years), Rose Meschini Prebola, daughters; Rosemarie Thomas, Sellersville, PA, Debora Bohn (William), West Pittston, and Kimberly Yochem (Robert), Harding, grandchildren; Brandon Bombe, Coty Thomas, Chase and Adam Yochem, great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Thomas, and step grandsons Joseph and Jamie Thomas. Also surviving, sister, Patricia Scalzo (Anthony), West Pittston, sisters-in-law, Delores Prebola, Westland MI, Ann Gittens and Doris Dabberi, both of West Wyoming, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives, Monday, April 7, 2025, from 5-8PM at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William St., Pittston.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 8, 2025, beginning at 9AM at the funeral home. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10AM in Immaculate Conception Church, Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Exeter.
