Frederick “Fritz” Keiderling, 78, of West Pittston, passed away peacefully at home April 16, 2025.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy, his loving children, Carl Keiderling and his wife Anna, Irvine, CA and Erica Polons and her husband Ed, Falls; his grandchildren, Cody Craig and his fiancé, Samantha Durning, Wyoming, Colin Keiderling, CA; Madisyn, Christian and Abigail Polons, Falls and Oliva Polons, MI, and his great-grandson, Ian Craig, Wyoming. He is also survived by his sister, Dorothy Pesontine, Hughestown; brothers-in-law, Allan and Arthur Cairl, Pittston and sister-in-law, Alita Connolly, Pittston; also, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ethel Minegar Keiderling, and brothers; Henry “Whitey”, William, Joseph, Gerald, and James and sister Elizabeth Webb.
Fritz was a proud Vietnam Veteran; then worked for the painters’ union.
He was an avid bowler and enjoyed camping, fishing, and the outdoors. Most of all, Fritz loved being Pop! He was proud of all his grandchildren and thrilled to be a great-grandfather.
Fritz will be remembered for his love of family, his humor, and his wisdom. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
There will be no services per Fritz’s wishes.
