Dolores (De) Insalaco, 88, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024.
Born in Pittston on June 15, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Carmen and Josephine Bruno Insalaco.
De was a graduate of Pittston High School. She had worked at Penn State University Extension as a Unit Coordinator for the Nutrition Program for 29 years. She also worked part time at the West Pittston Penn Mart for 20 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Sam, Leo, and Sandy Insalaco and sister, Rose Arfanella.
Surviving are her son, Jim Mellarkey and his wife, Mary and their children, Matt, Kai, and Erin Mellarkey of Maryland, her daughter, Diane Morris and family of Pittston, and numerous nieces and nephews.
De’s sense of humor, sweet disposition and fun-loving approach to life made her adored by all.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 10am-12pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. A Blessing Service will follow at 12pm in the funeral home. Private interment.
Mom, although you have left this world to be with God, you will never leave my heart. I'll miss you today, tomorrow and forever. You were the absolute best Mom a son could hope for. Rest now my sweetheart.
