Camille Nardone Poli, 60, of Hughestown passed away with her family by her side on December 4, 2024 after a short and courageous battle against melanoma.
Born in West Pittston, on December 3, 1964, she was the daughter to the late Anthony “Tucker” Nardone and Ann “Nancy” Reinard Nardone.
She was a 1983 graduate of Seton Catholic High School where she excelled as a four-year starter on the Lady Eagles basketball team which won several Wyoming Valley Conference championships.
Throughout her life she held jobs at M&T and First Heritage banks, the Pittston Area School District, Cracker Barrel and the Wilkes-Barre DMV.
Camille will forever be remembered for her big heart, her outstanding cooking and baking, and the impact she had on so many lives as her presence was always felt.
Family and friends were everything to Camille and her greatest accomplishment in life was being the matriarch of her family. She was rock for so many relatives and friends and was the glue who kept everyone together. Also, she was a loving and caring grandmother as her grandkids gave her so much joy in life.
Outside of her family and friends, Camille loved playing slot machines, going out to dinner and vacationing in Ocean City, Maryland, Disney World and Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband John Poli and the couple just celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her daughter Annemarie Mazur Rovinski and her husband, Greg Rovinski; sons John Eric Poli and Charles Poli; grandchildren Lucca and Pia Rovinski; sister Annette Nardone Adair; nephew A.J. Adair and his wife Dana Adair; niece Karlee Adair; great nephew Kallen Adair, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday December 10, 2024 from 4-7pm at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC 251 William Street, Pittston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday December 11, 2024 at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston, those wishing to attend are asked to go directly to the church. Private interment in West Pittston Cemetery.

Camille is and was so fabulous! Ever since my fabulous cousin John brought her into the family she has brought love and joy, she was a source of comfort and happiness. Camille was always original and a true friend. We are all better people having known her and indeed blessed having her in our lives.
Camille, you are loved so much and will be missed evermore.
