Carol Ann Waytul, 80, of West Wyoming, passed away Monday March 24, 2025 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.n


Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Guido Mancini and Sadie Candiotti Mancini.


Carol was a graduate of Jenkins Twp. High School and Empire Beauty School, and later received her Electrolysis License and her Cosmetology Teaching License. In her earlier years she worked in the local garment industry and was a member of the ILGWU. Carol worked for Jerrytone Beauty School and for many years owned her own full-service Electrolysis Salon, which her operated out of her home. She later worked for Suburban Propane and finally retired from Benco Dental.


Carol greatly enjoyed being outside, especially on the Delaware River, reading a book while her beloved husband fly-fished. She was an avid reader.


Carol was a loving and devoted wife, sister and aunt, she will be deeply missed. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Marion Waytul Klobukowski.


She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph Waytul.


Also surviving, brothers, Guido Mancini, Arizona, and Dan Mancini and wife Angela, Yatesville, sisters-in-law, Dolores Sindaco and Joan Krzywicki, nieces and nephews.


A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday April 2, 2025 at 11:00am in St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 205 N. Main St., Pittston with Fr. Andrii Dumnych officiating. Inurnment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
