Barbara Lynch Hensley, 78, of Hughestown, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 22, 2017 surrounded by her family. Born in Pittston on October 25, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret Gabello Lynch.
Barbara was a graduate of Pittston Central Catholic High School, Class of 1956. She worked at the West Side Bank and Donut Connection in Pittston.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church.
Barbara had a deep faith and loved her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Hensley, sister Marie Williams, brother James Lynch and son-in-law Thomas Ford.
Surviving are her daughters Catherine Ford, Yatesville; Lisa Harding and her husband David, Pittston; grandsons Thomas (Stacey) Ford, Maryland; Brandon (Jen) Ford, King of Prussia, and Michael Harding, Pittston; great-granddaughters Natalie and Caroline Ford, King of Prussia; sister-in-law Arlene Lynch; brothers-in-law Wayne Williams and Art VanWhy; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 9:30am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church on Saturday morning. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Assumption Cemetery, Hughestown. Friends may call Friday, August 25, 2017 from 5pm-8pm at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
