Gale Ann (Petro) Avery, 41, of Pittston, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 19, 2017. Born in Wilkes-Barre on February 21, 1976, she was the daughter of Joseph P. Petro, Sr. and Donna Green Petro of Pittston.
Gale graduated from Pittston Area High School and had worked as an EMT for many years and also as a nurses’ aide at Wesley Village.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters Helena and Katie Petro; sisters, Rhonda Petro and Jennifer Cabello all of Pittston and a brother, Joe Petro and his wife Suzannie, Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
