Victoria McLean, 92, of Pittston, passed away at home June 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pittston on January 20, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Dominic Roman. Vicki was the loving and dedicated wife of Gerard McLean, with whom she celebrated 56 years of marriage on June 3, 2017.
Vicki graduated from Pittston High School and worked as a dispatcher for her father’s business, Roman Taxi. She was a life member of St. Rocco’s Church until its closure, then becoming a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish. Vicki was active in church and community events. She served as den mother for Boy Scout Troop 303, volunteered at the school cafeteria and also volunteered with Meals on Wheels.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph; brothers, Carl, Peter, Rocky, Louis and Frank.
In addition to her husband, Gerard, surviving are her children, Michael, Colorado; Mary Ellen, home; David and his wife Mary Ann, Pittston Township; grandchildren, Amanda and her husband Albert Niedzwiecki; David and Cody McLean; and brother, Joseph Roman, Pittston. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 9am from Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. Interment, St. Rocco’s Cemetery, Pittston. Friends may call Monday, June 19, 2017 from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home.
