Romayne G. Trolio, 92, of Pittston Township passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at home. Born in Pittston Township on September 18, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Mulcahy) Butler.
She was a graduate of Pittston Township High School and in her earlier years, was employed as a seamstress in the local garment industry.
She was a life member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston and a member of the ILGW Union. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her great-grandchildren. She always took care of anyone who needed help and will be truly missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to meet her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Trolio in 2008; son-in-law, James C. Supinski in 2014 as well as by her 15 siblings of the Butler family.
Surviving are her daughters, Judy Saporito and her husband Danny, Pittston Township and Romayne Supinski, Wyoming; grandchildren, Dr. Daniel Saporito and his wife Kara, Shavertown and their children, Daniel and Pia; James Supinski, Wyoming and his daughter, Skylar Norton; and Sarah Argo and her husband Tony, Jenkins Township and their children, Marco and Talia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 5, 2017 at 9am from Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5pm – 8pm at the funeral home.
