Frank Bicchielli, 87, of Pittston Township passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. Born in Pittston Township on February 6, 1930, he was the son of the late Peter and Louisa Filipetti Bicchielli.
He attended Pittston Township schools and was employed as an auto mechanic for numerous local auto dealerships.
Frank was an avid hunter, it was his passion. He was a member of the Mile Hill Hunting Club, Suscon, enjoying the fellowship of his hunting friends. If he wasn’t working, he was at the cabin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Josephine Mancia and Ann Marie Marcellini.
Surviving are his son Frank and daughter Michele; sisters Celia Bicchielli, Pittston Township, Nicoletta Goldsworthy, West Pittston and Ida LaFratte, Pittston Township; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 1pm-2pm at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Blessing Service at 2pm. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
