Elizabeth Traglia Hylton passed away on Sunday September 25 surrounded by her children and friend Anna. She was born on August 28, 1937, to Joseph and Mary (Genova) Sharr.
She was the wife of the late Vincent N. Traglia. She was preceded in death by her sister Christine Lucia.
Liz's children and family are Vince and wife Anne, Chris and wife Carolyn, Joe, Jennifer and husband Mark McDade. Her grandchildren are Nina, James, Nicholas, Joseph, Maria, and Callin. She had many nieces and nephews including Anisa and Joe Lucia.
Liz grew up in Old Forge, New Jersey, and West Scranton. She raised her family in Wilkes-Barre, Laflin, and Plains and later lived in Rhode Island, Maryland, and most recently Moosic.
Liz's lifelong passions were her friends and family. Her most enjoyable times in life were having her family gathered around the table. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, decorating for the holidays, and Penn State football.
Liz was also married to the late John Hylton.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:15am from the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon in St. Ann Basilica Parish, 1250 St. Ann Street, Scranton. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Rocco’s Cemetery, Pittston Township. Friends may call Friday morning from 10:00am until the time of services at the funeral home.
