Margaret E. Belko, 73, of Pittston, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 in Highland Manor, Exeter. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Margaret Zavada Gaul.
She was a graduate of St. John’s High School. She was employed as a group leader at ARC of NEPA. In her earlier years she had worked at Pittston Fashions and Rex Shoe Factory.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Belko in 1994; sisters, Mary Eshelman and Suzanne Giordano; brother, Ambrose Gaul and an infant brother.
Surviving are daughters Tracy Henriksen and her husband David, and Sharon Hart and her husband Thomas, all of Pittston; grandchildren, Joseph Prendergast; Christine Prendergast; Destiny Coolbaugh and Ashley Henriksen; sisters, Bonnie Kundrako and her husband William, Harding; Judy Gaul, Exeter; and Monica Pace and her husband Joseph, Exeter; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 12Noon in the Parish of St. Barbara, 28 Memorial Street, Exeter. Friends may call from 11am until time of mass in the church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston.
