Theresa J. Lolli, 96, of Dupont, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in Golden Living Center, Plains Township.
She was one of eleven children, born to John and Anna Amicarelli Lello. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Angelo Chris Lolli and her ten siblings, Joseph, Charles, Anthony, Louis and Sylvester Lello; Anna Pierontoni, Julia Pannunzio, Jennie Campiformio, Rose Sedlak, Lena Preston, and infant grandson, Angelo Lolli.
She was an extraordinary woman; always giving and caring and never asking for anything in return. She had a strong belief in her religion, her family, and country. Theresa loved people and they loved her. She was soft spoken but a strong person. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and her home was always full of people. No one ever left hungry. She was an excellent cook; homemaker and outstanding wife. She was the best Mother and Grandmother any child could ask for.
She was an avid news junky, read the newspapers daily and worked her crossword puzzles. She enjoyed cruises and trips to Atlantic City. Her biggest joys were her two great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Linda Churla and her husband John, Waverly; and John Lolli and his wife Irma, Bear Creek; granddaughter, Marya Churla Gernhardt and her husband Dr. Roy Gernhardt, Clarks Summit; two great-grandchildren whom she adored, Emma and R.J.; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mauer Biscotti for his excellent care and compassion. Also, a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Golden Living Center, especially Ashley Morgan, who were compassionate and helpful during her time of need.
A special thank you to her niece, Angeline Lello Lacomis and her husband John who spent many hours with her and brought her delicious home cooked meals. Also a special thank you to Tina, Roberta, Jeanine, Tommy as well her other wonderful nieces and nephews.
