Paul J. Strasser, 61, of Shavertown, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Post-Acute Hospital, Wilkes Barre. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Erica Klemens Strasser.
He had been employed as a sales manager at Morgan Advanced Materials Certech. He enjoyed traveling, photography, woodworking and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by father-in-law, Samuel J. Gelso and brother-in-law, Atty. Charles P. Gelso.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Rosalia Gelso Strasser; daughter, Atty. Carrie Strasser and her husband Matthew Naughton, Boston, MA; son Max Strasser, Boston, MA; siblings, Christopher Strasser and his wife Mary, Philadelphia; Michael Strasser, Pittsburgh; Stephen Strasser and his wife Ruth, Pittsburgh; Elizabeth Strasser and her husband Charles Plummer, Sacramento, CA; Peter Strasser and his wife Cassandra, Airmont, NY; and Thomas Strasser, Providence, RI; mother-in-law, Florence Nardone Gelso, Shavertown; sister-in-law, Maryanne Gelso, Dallas; brother-in-law, Sam Gelso, Boston, MA; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
